Amaya Miller brings extensive experience and a deep passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs to her role as Program Manager at The Supported Living Group. Her journey in healthcare began at Norwich Tech, where she gained CNA experience and discovered her calling while serving as an assistant manager at a group home. In this role, she worked closely with total care clients, overseeing their health needs, managing staff, coordinating appointments, and ensuring daily living tasks were met with care and efficiency.
Amaya’s passion for helping others led her to a Behavioral Health Technician/Case Manager role, where she managed behavioral plans across multiple group homes, facilitated coping skills sessions, and collaborated with staff to provide high-quality care. She cultivated strong relationships with clients and staff alike, consistently demonstrating her dedication to improving the lives of those she served.
Her expertise expanded further in clinic and school settings, where she supported children on the autism spectrum. In these roles, Amaya honed her skills in crisis management through CPI training, applied ABA techniques, and conducted data tracking to ensure personalized, effective care. Her ability to adapt to diverse diagnoses and developmental stages reflects her commitment to holistic and individualized support.
