Job Coach

 

Services provide volunteer or paid learning and work experience, where the individual can develop general job and non-job-task-specific strengths and skills that contribute to employment or employ-ability in an integrated work setting. Services are intended to develop and teach general skills, such as the ability to communicate effectively; comply with generally accepted community and/or workplace conduct and dress; follow directions; attend to tasks; develop strategies to solve problems; and comply with general safety and mobility standards. Services shall be provided in the individual’s home or in an integrated work setting, based on the individual’s needs and preferences. The individual shall have employment-related goals in the person-centered service plan.
